Psara License for Security Agency is a mandatory requirement for starting security business in India to provide Private Security to any kind of Govt or semi Govt or private company / industry / establishment / organization. The license is granted by nominated Controlling Authority (CA) of the state Govts under an act of Govt of India called PSAR-2005.

Renewal of PSARA License
PSARA license is valid for period of Five years from date of issue. CA has an authority to cancel the license if PSA is found to indulge in unlawful activities. The license will cease to exist on expiry of the validity period. PSARA License need to be renewed after every Five years. On expiry of PSARA License, PSA has to apply for renewal of the license again to the respective CA of the state / union territory.
- Same procedure as required for fresh license is to be repeated for renewal of license
- In addition, training certificate of all the security guards held at the time of making application for renewal of license have to be submitted along with application for renewal of license.
